Team News 10-11-2004: Congratulations again to the LSC Eclipse!! In their second tournament appearance the LSC Elipse won their U10 Silver Division of the LSC Columbus Day tournament. At the end of the tournament the team had accumulated a 4-0-0 record. The defense was awesome allowing only 4 goals in 4 games while the wildly successful offense scored 11 goals by a variety of team members!! 8-31-2004: Congratulations to an outstanding performance by the LSC Eclipse at the 2004 Dulles Cup held on August 28-29, 2004. In their first competition as a newly formed team, the Eclipse gave up only 3 goals in 3 games and scored 10 goals against their opponents. The final scores of the games were: 1-1, 9-0, and 0-2. After tying for first place in the initial round robin play, the team went into a shoot-out with the other first place team. The shoot-out was a dramatic affair that finally ended on the 10th shot by each team. |
